This week I bring you Meltdown Makeup Remover by Urban Decay. I absolutely love Urban Decay and it is one of the best lines of makeup I've ever used. This is probably one of the best makeup removers I've also ever used, it gets all the makeup off in pretty much one small drop of the remover. This product goes for $24.00 at any Ulta or Sephora, but you get your moneys worth. You only need a small amount of this product and it will remove a whole face of makeup. It's also a cream base, so it's not harsh like the oil. It doesn't leave your face feeling greasy at all and feels like it actually moisturizes at the same time. I'd definitely recommend this makeup remover for yourself or if you're a makeup artist, it really comes in handy for models if you're doing more than one look per shoot.

Beauty Pick of the Week!
For this weeks beauty pick I chose Lip Tar from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, because of the quality, the pigment, and the packaging. OCC probably makes the best lip product right now. Lip tars are so pigmented and photograph so well you might as well say goodbye to regular lip glosses and lipsticks. Even when wearing this product it feels like you have nothing on your lips and it stays on for a very long time. I also love how they smell minty as well. Lip tars come in a tube for easy access because all you have to do is squeeze them. I still recommend a lip brush for application since putting it on straight from the tube can be a bit messy. The only thing I found I didn't like about these is if you don't use them for a while and they sit, they tend to separate. If you shake them up or flip them over, they will mix again and be fine for application. One lip tar goes for $13.00 right now at occmakeup.com and is filled with .27 FL OZ of product, but not too worry because these lip tars will last forever. You only need a tiny bit of this product, it definitely lasts. I do find it easier to apply this product on models than using a lip gloss or lipstick. You can also mix colors and make your own custom color with any lip tar, so it's definitely worth it if you want a certain color that they don't have. I would recommend these to any one and everyone should have at least one of these in their professional kit, purse, or personal kit. Lip tar is also Vegan and Cruelty-Free for those who are animal loves.

Beauty Pick of the Week!
My beauty pick for this week are the 24/7 Concealer Pencils by Urban Decay. I absolutely love these because they're so soft and they blend right into the skin without moving, the concealer stays in place all day. You do have to sharpen these and Urban Decay does have a 2 size pencil sharpener called Grind House for $10.00, so you can use it for these and if you have 24/7 eyeliners. I also like these pencils because you can apply the product right to your face and it just melts into the skin. You don't have to worry about a tube running out or dipping your fingers into the product, all you have to worry about is sharpening. These concealer pencils are also amazing because they are full of Vitamin E and contain an ingredient called Microsponge which absorbs oil and prevents future breaks outs without clogging your pores. So this is definitely a great product and a little does go a long way, so this pencil will last for a long time. They go for $18.00 each at Ulta Beauty or Sephora near you.

Beauty Pick of the Week!
My pick for this week is by Bare Escentuals. I know people either love or hate this company, but this product you should love. If you're tired of lipsticks drying your lips out or you hate how sticky a lipgloss can be, then look no further. Bare Escentuals has the product for you, Pretty Amazing lip colors! I absolutely loves these because of how pigmented they are and how moisturizing they are. Plus with this product a little definitely goes a long way. One goes for $16.00, but you get what you pay for. I love how this lip product is in between a lipstick and a lipgloss. It definitely lasts for up to 2 or 3 hours before reapplying and never dries your lips out. I also love that it comes with a sponge tip applicator and not a brush which tends to separate and get gross. Pretty Amazing lip color comes in 12 different shades. You can find these at Sephora or an Ulta near you!

Beauty Pick of the week!
Been a little behind as of late with the blog. Work and school has kept me so busy lately. Instead of doing one product each day, I decided to do one a week. So here's my pick for this week, better yet picks: Natural Performance Foundation by Lorac and Breakthrough Performance Foundation by Lorac.
I'm usually not a huge fan of liquid foundations, but I love both of these foundations by Lorac. It's my number seller when selling liquid foundation. People love it because it's not heavy and it feels great on your skin for a liquid. The Natural Performance Foundation is a medium to full coverage and the Breakthrough Performance Foundation is a light to medium coverage. So you get your choice of how much coverage you need. Natural Performance Foundation is oil free, fragrance free and is great for sensitive skin. This foundation is $36.00 at Ulta Beauty or Sephora. The Breakthrough Performance Foundation is also oil free, it's anti-aging and has SPF 14 which the Natural Performance Foundation does not have. The Breakthrough Performance Foundation also is pre-aging and hydrates the skin. So if you have dry skin this foundation's for you! This one runs a couple dollars more, $38.00 at Ulta Beauty or Sephora.

Beauty Pick of the Day!
Urban Decay Naked Palette
You seriously can't go wrong with this palette. Everyone can play it safe with neutrals when it comes to eyeshadow, that's why I think this palette is so user friendly. Not to mention the amazing quality of Urban Decay's eyeshadows to begin with. These eyeshadows blend so well and go on the eyes very pigmented, I have to say with this palette it is definitely worth the $48.00. Even better, get their eye primer potion to go on underneath and your shadow will last until you take it off! Available @ any Sephora or ULTA Beauty.

Beauty Pick of the Day!
Smashbox Photo Finish
This is my absolute favorite face primer. It’s a clear gel based primer that makes the skin very smooth for foundation application. This primer is oil free and diminishes fine lines and wrinkles. It makes your foundation last a lot longer so you don’t have to keep reapplying and keeps it from creasing. It has vitamins A, E, plus green tea, which is great for the skin. $36.00 @ ULTA Beauty or Sephora.

Perfect Eyes Waterproof & Tearproof Eyeliners by Too Faced Cosmetics
Too Faced Cosmetics has recently come out with these extraordinary eye liners. I have to say I love these even more than the 24/7 eyeliners from Urban Decay. These eyeliners glide on so smooth and the color comes out super dark. They definitely have a lot of pigment and one pencil lasts for a very long time. You can also smudge them really easily for that smokey look, plus they're waterproof. One pencil goes for $18.00, you can pick them up at any ULTA Beauty or Sephora.

Boi-ing by Benefit Cosmetics
If anyone is looking for a really good concealer this is it. Boi-ing is an industrial strength concealer that will cover just about anything. It’s not just for under eyes either, you can use it where ever needed. This is a creamy type of concealer, but dries to a powder finish. I absolutely love this concealer and highly recommend it if you need a lot of coverage. Only $19.00 @ ULTA or Sephora.

NARS Pro-Prime Pore Refining Primer
I recently got this primer as a sample from Sephora, so I thought I'd do a review on it any way. I tried this out the other day and I actually really like it. It doesn't stick out as much from any other primer I've used, but it does it's job. I really do like NARS products even though their makeup line is on the pricier side. This primer minimizes pores, takes care of shine, and creates a smooth surface of the skin for long lasting wear of any foundation and concealer. I do like this primer because it does minimize pores, smooths out wrinkles and fine lines. One of these tubes of primer goes for $32 from Sephora. No SPF in this, but it still does a good job and you only need a small amount for the whole face. I would definitely recommend this primer. NARS is a really good brand and compared to the rest of the primers I've used, I would say this comes in second behind Smashbox Photo Finish.

Benefit Cosmetics - Stay don't Stray Primer
Recently picked up this primer from Benefit Cosmetics. It's a primer for eyeshadows and concealers. This product comes in the box and is a small round bottle with a pump for application. It's pretty creamy and feels like a concealer, but once blended in, it's like you're wearing nothing. It even makes your skin feel softer and helps set the skin for an easy makeup application. This is great for concealers since sometimes they cake or crease under the eyes, this product prevents that from happening. Overall I would buy this again, it works really well. It's even an awesome primer for eyeshadows and lasts all day. This product goes for $26 and you can get it at an Ulta or Sephora.
