Beauty Pick of the Week!

This week I bring you Meltdown Makeup Remover by Urban Decay. I absolutely love Urban Decay and it is one of the best lines of makeup I've ever used. This is probably one of the best makeup removers I've also ever used, it gets all the makeup off in pretty much one small drop of the remover. This product goes for $24.00 at any Ulta or Sephora, but you get your moneys worth. You only need a small amount of this product and it will remove a whole face of makeup. It's also a cream base, so it's not harsh like the oil. It doesn't leave your face feeling greasy at all and feels like it actually moisturizes at the same time. I'd definitely recommend this makeup remover for yourself or if you're a makeup artist, it really comes in handy for models if you're doing more than one look per shoot.

Beauty Pick of the Week!

For this weeks beauty pick I chose Lip Tar from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, because of the quality, the pigment, and the packaging. OCC probably makes the best lip product right now. Lip tars are so pigmented and photograph so well you might as well say goodbye to regular lip glosses and lipsticks. Even when wearing this product it feels like you have nothing on your lips and it stays on for a very long time. I also love how they smell minty as well. Lip tars come in a tube for easy access because all you have to do is squeeze them. I still recommend a lip brush for application since putting it on straight from the tube can be a bit messy. The only thing I found I didn't like about these is if you don't use them for a while and they sit, they tend to separate. If you shake them up or flip them over, they will mix again and be fine for application. One lip tar goes for $13.00 right now at occmakeup.com and is filled with .27 FL OZ of product, but not too worry because these lip tars will last forever. You only need a tiny bit of this product, it definitely lasts. I do find it easier to apply this product on models than using a lip gloss or lipstick. You can also mix colors and make your own custom color with any lip tar, so it's definitely worth it if you want a certain color that they don't have. I would recommend these to any one and everyone should have at least one of these in their professional kit, purse, or personal kit. Lip tar is also Vegan and Cruelty-Free for those who are animal loves.

Beauty Pick of the Week!

My beauty pick for this week are the 24/7 Concealer Pencils by Urban Decay. I absolutely love these because they're so soft and they blend right into the skin without moving, the concealer stays in place all day. You do have to sharpen these and Urban Decay does have a 2 size pencil sharpener called Grind House for $10.00, so you can use it for these and if you have 24/7 eyeliners. I also like these pencils because you can apply the product right to your face and it just melts into the skin. You don't have to worry about a tube running out or dipping your fingers into the product, all you have to worry about is sharpening. These concealer pencils are also amazing because they are full of Vitamin E and contain an ingredient called Microsponge which absorbs oil and prevents future breaks outs without clogging your pores. So this is definitely a great product and a little does go a long way, so this pencil will last for a long time. They go for $18.00 each at Ulta Beauty or Sephora near you.
